As we all know, the events of the past days and weeks have been unprecedented, and we will continue to monitor and navigate this rapidly changing situation.
Proper sanitation practices have always been, and will remain, a top priority for us, having always been in compliance and exceeding regulations set by Alberta Health Services. In addition to our current procedures, we will also implement any additional measures necessary to ensure the safety of our restaurant is not compromised.
Steps we are currently taking include:
- Increased level of care protocols for receiving, preparing, and handling food & food waste
- Limiting the number of people in the restaurant to a level which will allow for meaningful social distancing
- Frequent handwashing by all staff (after handling cash, touching face or hair, touching common points of contact, clearing tables, etc.)
- Any staff member reporting cold or flu symptoms is required to stay home for a minimum of 14 days
As a family-owned business, we are facing a major challenge to keep our beloved restaurant going and to take care of our staff and our customers. We will be changing some of our operating procedures in the coming days so please stay tuned for updates.
It’s often in difficult times that we reflect on what matters most, we are so lucky for all the support our customers have provided us through the years. That being said, please take the time to support local businesses through these difficult times and help your fellow neighbours where you can!
